Overglaze laying, overglaze polychrome painting, gilt, diverging pattern on porcelain; silk ribbon.
Height - 11.0 cm
Painted egg after the work “Archangel Michael Fights Satan” presumably ascribed to Timofei Neff (1805-1876).
A porcelain tablet with the complete original painting from the permanent exhibition of the Imperial Porcelain Factory Museum was instrumental in clarifying the origin of the composition.
